Alanna invited me to shoot her baby shower and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I have know her for ages and she is so very dear to me. She is expecting any day now:) Congratulations Alanna!!

I have known Alanna since I was 5. She stands as the one person I have kept in touch with FOR. THAT. LONG. Besides my parents . . . .of course. Alanna has always been someone I looked up to. Really. To make a life analogy . . . I was a trained dancer for 13 years and I would consider myself “graceful”. But, Alanna? She has LIFE GRACE! Not only is she EASILY one of the most beautiful people I know, but she is also one of the kindest and most honest. We do not see each other very often, but when we do – I feel like we haven’t missed a beat. There is never any boring small talk because she is always able to cut right into the meat and potatoes of our lives. Everyone just loves to be around her. (Everyone reading this who knows her is thinking “mmmmhmmm! That’s right!”)
I was able to step away with her and her husband, Todd, during their baby shower and take these portraits. (MANY more coming later this week).
Alanna, I am so happy for you.
May we always cut right to the meat and potatoes:) And may I continually work on improving my “Life Grace”.
